Everyday is Good Day!

How does one create a good day for him/herself? Well it’s really not that hard considering everything we already have in this world. Everyday should be a good day if you appreciative and are thankful for what you have today but might not have tomorrow. One never really knows if there will be a new tomorrow? You never know when this day might be your last day or your last breathe of fresh air.

Last week (30 July 2010), a friend that met and knew briefly died in a car accident. It happened in the early morning hours of Friday when his car swerved off the N1 highway and hit a tree. The speed that he was traveling at was so fast (210 km/h) that when it hit the tree, the car split into half (not completely, just parts of the car) and he was flung out of the car about 110 m away from where he had crashed his car. He was proclaimed dead on site as the impact happened so fast, that it snapped his upper body from his legs (or lower body)and landed 110m away.

This all sounds horrific, but actually he died the way he lived his life. He lived a very fast pace life, and died at a fast past face… didn’t feel any pain. From being around him he loved partying, he loved social gatherings and always had a new plan of action. He had a good heart but didn’t know how to be around certain social settings in my opinion, therefore to many he came across as arrogant and just a money talking guy. He always spoke about his car being very fast, and in the end, his fast car got the better of him.

It’s a sad tragedy but if you look at the odds, he always spoke about his car, he loved and worshipped his car, and then, he died with his car. They say the way you live your live, is the way you’ll end up dying which is true in this case.

This is just a wake up call from the reality you live in when you realise how quickly your life can be snapped away from you, if you don’t really appreciate life as a whole. He appreciated his material possessions and rich lifestyle, but he also appreciated the people close to him.

Make everyday a good day no matter the circumstances!

Until next time.. Chiao Bella 

Frustration Reeks at CPUT - Cape Town Campus

If you're ever thinking of going to an instituion that is well equipped to suit your needs in terms of eduation, durable and reputable facilities, do not invest your time and money at CPUT, Cape Town Capmus!!! I promis you it a waste of your time and money!

Throughout the 4 years that I've been studying at this institution (God only knows why), this campus has always had a huge problem when it comes to the use of using their facilities, specifically their computers. Its 2010 and still nothing is being done to solve these primary problems.

Another distubia, more like an infested plague taking over CPUT is E-learning. Freedom of stealing has become the new fad at that building. I don't consider it apart of the isntitution, or rather I can't because just the thought makes me want to puke!!!

I am utterly and totally disgusted with CPUT services whereby they assist students. Since we all got back from the long World Cup Holidays, there are roughtly 10 computers in the library lab that are out of order, and some don't even consist of a screen. I am a full time student, but I'm here tonight, again (all the way from Kuils River) hoping to do some research because during the day, its simply impossible. But what do I find.. the same havock happening during the evening. I'm just sick and tired of this campus and the people who think they can run a campus becuase NEWSFLASH>>> YOU CAN'T!!!

Don't know where to go, who to complain anymore, the only way is problably going to the SON and making it a front cover page?

Why is it so hard to get a IT technition to fix our pc's, afterall then why the heck does this campus offer IT? ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR and this is one reason why I struggle to do my research and find something lucrative and informative to write about!

If I had the choice, I would go to CPUT Bellville campus aka Pentech, where I at least am assured of a PC, a working printer per lab and assistance from students doing IT. You can workd quietly without any stress what so ever!!!

Im done complaining, chow for now!!!
