Feelings Follow Behaviour!

Feelings follow behavior… um yes I would agree with this statement. To my understanding, how you feel sends out different behaviours of yourself, be it good or bad.

I agree because when it comes to loving someone or being in love with someone, the heart and mind combined conjure up the weirdest craziest moments ever, hence from the feelings you enact within yourself. The things we would do for love are so much stronger than what you wouldn’t do for love.

Our actions speak louder than words and always manifest throughout of lives be it good actions or bad, they become imprinted in your life like a permanent tattoo. That is why you always get that saying ‘think before you speak, or think before you act?’. Bottom lines, when your actions have spoken, they’ve spoke n and there’s not a dam thing you can do to change of reverse the past. It sucks, I know, but that’s reality.

These experiences occur a lot when you’re in love and the love you have for one person turns into anger and the next all you see is red. You don’t think straight, you just act like a turbo injected car that has been turned on and off you go with force, with no one being able to control or able to stop you. Your actions act out due to your strong feelings for that person and it can end up being the things you regret for the rest of your life.

In my life, I’ve always practiced patience and diligence with people. I try not to upset myself or allow my feelings to override my behavior. Then there are the times when arguments splurge out of control, they become ugly, and when you know you are saying the meanest things you would never have imagined yourself saying out loud, let alone your behaviours that follow it.

At the end of the day, it’s always good to be aware of what goes on within yourself, the feelings that are embedded into your physical being the day you were born. Once you are aware, you can realize the consequences, risks, and opportunities that go hand in hand with what you feel and the outcomes of that feeling.

This topic is open for discussion don’t you think?

Until next time… xoxo

Chilling with Lesbians...

This was an all new experience to me when my friend invited me along to a braai in the CBD of Cape Town. Little did I know it was going to a full on Lesbian gathering until we were almost there. I’ve never been to just a lesbian party, braai encounter before, so I was quite keen and eager to meet everyone and see what lesbians were all about.

When we got there it was only lesbians that were there ( as I’ve already mentioned just couldn’t believe it really). At first it was quite weird because only a few mingled with us, and then there were just the random clicky girls who stuck together.

As the evening progressed, I started feeling quite comfortable and felt like it was a girl’s night out (which it was). We had great pizza, red wine, beers and each other which was a lot of fun.

I became too comfortable that I ended up falling asleep on the couch cuddling a pillow. It was quite funny because when I woke up, it was like I didn’t really miss anything, and nobody judged me for falling asleep.

I also realized that lesbians are really not that different besides dating chicks. We can still have perfectly and outrageous conversations with each other, laugh about remarks and not get offended and just be yourself.

I really enjoyed the evening, because we were just a bunch of chicks with different clicks and backgrounds, be it male intentions of female intentions, we could come together and just be who we are and not feel like we were being judged!

I will definitely do it again, you all rocked!

Why Do people snorkel and not use tissues?

I don't understand my fellow humans, but I would like to know why do people snorkel in computer labs or just in public generally. Ooh I can' stand it, it's really super irritating I must tell you.

For those who don't know what it means, here's a mish.dish definition for you: Its when people are too lazy to get a tissue to blow there noses, then the next best thing left for them to do it... snorkel it straight-up there nostrils and swallow.

It's the most disgusting thing to human kind that even if my best friend had to do it, I would never look at him/her in the same light again! Where is your manners or at least respect for the other person sitting right next you!

If you're wondering why I'm speaking about it, its because I had my fair share of snorkeling experiences thing morning in the computer lab. And the worst part is, you want to help them and offer a tissue... there response... 'No thank you!'. AAAAArrrrrrr, just makes me want to scream.

I mean there's a sea where its actually allowed to go snorkeling, why don't you just do it there. Or if you do have sinuses problems, swim in the sea. According to doctors salt water clears your sinuses for you.

I really think we need to clamp down on people who snorkel and start teaching them manners, or something of that sort.

Very disturbed and perturbed mish.dish signing out!:(

It is better to practice a little than talk alot!

In life, we find many people in our lives that say too much but can never follow through with certain commitments and promises.I'll admit, sometime I make commitments too that I am not able to follow through, but at least I've become aware of it and I'm trying my best to meet what commit to do. Like handing in assignments, you get students speaking so highly and proudly of their work, saying it was easy.. bla bla bla, then when lecturers submit your assignments, they obtain a lower mark than you. Why is that? Simple, you imprint in your head that you are better and know more, when actually you don't. The same applies to work deadlines, people say they will deliver but then hardly make it through half way.

We are always trying to show others our worth in what we say. It's like meeting friends who went travelling for two years in America and all of a sudden... two years later they return with an acquired uppity Rar-Rar-Rar Upper East Side American Accent. I do understand the fact that sometimes you have to adapt to a certain English Dialects because people can't understand what you are saying because you are foreign... I get that totally. But when you do return... and decide to keep that accent, I think the only person you not being true to is yourself.

I admit, I've also dreamed of travelling soon, but the reality is, I need money to accomplish those goals and without it, I am unable to venture out. It's the same like saying you own a car, but I never seen it in your drive way, nor seen you drive it. Why must we lie to ourselves people?

I understand we all tell a lie or two sometimes to impress our friends, but to make something up like,' my mom and I will be immigrating to Paris soon because I'm starting my new fashion line there', and 5 years later you are still where you started... studying? Who are you kidding... only yourself.

A perfect politician who talks too much and hardly ever delivers would be Julius Malema. All he ever does it talk talk talk talk but when is it ever relevant. His mouth runs away with him 99% of the time. He is a ANC youth leader, and when he speaks Sh*t to the media, the Media aks ANC all the questions, not him. He's a leader who hasn't really mastered his qualities of being a true example. People look up to him because he's fierce and proud, which are very good leadership qualities to have, but you should know where to draw the line... and in his case, he needs to draw the line in knowing when to shut up and when to speak.

Its best to stick to reality stories and build you vision and goals from there. We are all so quick to make comments about others, yet we have the exact same faults, but feel better about yourself by criticizing others.

My advice to you... Practice what you preach my brothers and sisters. Be it about our families, our working statuses, the people we date, always try and make your actions and words truthful.

At the end of the day, you are only shooting yourself in the foot by being dishonest about who and what you truly are.

Until Next Time... Chow Bela :)

How you know when you having a K*K day...

Today I woke up feeling all revved up until I got to the bathroom and saw my aunt Liz in her red Porsche came to visit. Then Aunt Liz in her red Porsche needed stuff so I told her I'll get it on my way to tech.

Then as I drove to the station to catch my train, and inn my head I knew I might not make it in time but still went on driving. Then as I got to the Parking lot at Kuils River station, and there I missed the train I was suppose to get. Now if you travel by train you would know that after 8, the trains come every half hour. So in my mind I thought ' Oh well its shit cold outside, going to chill for a while in the car and wait until after 9 and then get onto the platform". Then to my surprise as I looked to the right , there another train came in, that was like 5 minutes after the train I was suppose to get left. And immediately, whoops there I'm running, running for my life... hoping and praying kak hard 'please lord, don't let this train drive away, and it parked like for 10 seconds and there it went. Ah-stare-shock. I couldn't believe my eyes, I missed two trains in a span of 10 minutes, how dumb is that.

I felt like the biggest ninkon-poop on the station.lol Then that in itself was a big sign that I rather had to stay at home peoples, but no mish the dish had to meet her group to study for tomorrow big management test. Then I got a train...eventually that only took me to Bellville station, not knowing this train is turning back, and I'm chilling hard until I realised, but hey ' waar is almal dan nou'? Then I peeped out the window only seeing people running to Platform nine. Girlfriend, then I started running for my life(again) and just just managed to catch that train.

Then when I got to town I started walking fast because I thought I was late for my group study. Walking and walking, this random bergie man walks past and grabs my hand... WTF? I was so appalled I kept wiping my hand and as I looked back, he just kept smiling with no teeth in his gigantic mouth, all you see is pink gums... I'm telling you not a word of a lie I promise you.

Got the tech, finally, then ran to the bathroom to rinse my hand and use the toilet. Then the one toilet that had toilet paper was occupied. And I waited and I waited, and I swear it was like this chick was having a leka party, and she just doesn't get done. OK so I decided to go to the library and start looking for my group. To my dismay and disappointment, I just couldn't find them. Tried calling everyone but all you get is voicemail. Ooh now you can now just imagine how Justin-timberlake I am already... I'm Juzza to the max!

Ok I breath in and out and started walking out of the library and there my BF calls. I answer but not making a noise, and this library man with a massive gap in his teeth, he could fit in a KFC filler in that gap come my waya and he tells me to switch off my phone. But I tell him I'm leaving and as I'm walking he grabs by bag and goes off his rocket. I was so Juzza I told him 'leave my bag' and he just kept pulling it. And the more I'm telling to leave me and bag he just doesn't listen. Then I told him if I was shouting yes, reprimand me all you like, but I was on the phone, not speaking load and then I terminated the call wen he said I should, but to grab my bag and pull me with it... Not a dam Ayoba!

Then he said sorry, and as I came out of the aisle, everybody looked and stared, was very and extremely embarrassing.

Then went to the bathroom, finally got a toilet, only to find there was no seat on it. Scandal scandal scandal to handle. Then I just squatted because nature was calling from all ends of the world and I couldn't wait no more, so I just toughened up and got it over and done with.

And this my friends is how a Kak day unfolds! So now I'm in the engineering lab and not knowing what to do next.. go home?

Wedding Cake-in-the-middle-of- the road?!

When I think ‘Wedding Cake-in-the-middle-of- the road’, it makes me think that the couples are not yet ready to take that leap. Yes some may see this as being superstitious, but don’t you think everything happens for a reason. Mistakes don’t just fall out of the sky, they there to either rectify and if its not you’ll keep making the same mistake until you figure out why everything happens to you in a certain way. This is a very random thing to envision because that’s the last place you’d want your wedding cake to be on the day of your wedding.

It’s like negative people. When negative people are around me, I try to avoid them as much as possible, because you feel heaviness around you and the only way to get rid of it is to either leave the room or pray it away. You’ll be amazed at the type of energies you attract to yourself by just your way of thinking.

This statement spells disaster, a mistake; I mean who puts a wedding cake in the middle of the road in literal terms. Well, if you look at in a metaphorical way, it could be implied that one needs to take note sometimes of what life brings and shares with you. It’s like if the wedding cake wasn’t in the road at that place and time, you would not notice anything else around you.

If you are getting married, my advice, have it rather delivered by the bakery, that way should anything go wrong and your cake ends up in the middle of the road, then at least you know you either getting a refund or a new one… simple as that.

Until next time… Chow bela 

It is a poor idea to lie to yourself…

It’s tough when you reach a point in your life and realize where you are at, what you have achieved, and how much still needs to be achieved. A lot of pressure we experience comes from our up bringing. Once you walk out of the high school doors and enter the tertiary education, everything changes for you.

Decisions have to be made that only you, not a friend or family member can make for you. This decision is crucial because this is where you actually determine what is it you want to aspire to and make it apart of your life… or at least that is what most people think in fact. So take a few steps back and look at what where you are right now in your life, and ask yourself “is there where I want to be for the rest of my life?”

I look at a lot at my friends who were on school with me and see how much they’ve achieved in life, and you wonder to yourself… am I the typical drop out who didn’t follow and study accordingly because I felt that what I was studying at the time wasn’t really my passion? There are two solutions to this question… one, realize where you are in life and how to move forward; or lie to yourself by telling yourself you rather want to study for the rest of your life and not face the reality of where you are and where you would like to be?

Many people around us lie to other people, but most importantly they lie to themselves. It’s like hanging with a rich and famous crowed; thinking they will always pay for bill at the end of a meal, or telling everyone you have so many businesses running when actually you have none, it’s all cheap talk and no show.

I’ve realized the sooner you know what it is you want in life and how you are going to get it, the easier it is to get where you want be, because things like being confused or stuck no longer feature, it is the now and your future determined by the now. So what you waiting for, lets go out there and show the world our world and let’s earn it, the honourable and rightful way. Don’t cheat life, because you never know when life might decide to cheat you… Karma is a bitch, so be aware of what you put out into the universe.

Until next time… chow bela 
